The PAS Paradigm
PAS is what we would describe as a database publisher. The PAS operational paradigm has a pyramid structure. The worksheet is the top of the pyramid, below that is the item comprised of components, and below that are item details comprised of such things as picklists. As a user you have control over every one of the levels involved in the worksheet and in the final report, allowing flexibility previously unattainable in an appraisal program.
The Worksheet
The worksheet represents the nexus for the data you enter when creating the appraisal.
View it the same as your intake form you used in the past to keep notes with pen and paper on each appraisal assignment.
The Client
Client data is stored and managed for you. You can input names, addresses, phone and email information, track referrals, insurance information and much more.
Managing your client records and creating reports is easy and quick.
The Report Type
The report type, (insurance, estate, etc.) is managed using sections. The various sections used in the report control the layout and data content in the report.
By altering sections you affect the overall content and layout of the final report.

The Item
Once you have chosen your sections you move on to inputting your item data.
First you enter a brief description of the item then use components and picklists to easily calculate weights and enter details with a click of your mouse.
The Valuation
You control the valuation process - PAS helps you with the math and makes it painless and easy with the integration of both The Guide and Rapaport as pricing sources. (See Rapaport example below.)
The Report
PAS creates and stores the report that is generated from the worksheet data. The report is stored in the report folder exactly as it was created, edited and printed. statements, item descriptions, biographical data, plot diagrams, digital images... everything.
So you see - PAS saves your appraisal in two ways. The worksheet, which is the interface to the data and the report, which is an integrated word processor connected to PAS.
Therefore you can use PAS to produce your appraisals with confidence knowing that your reports are safe in two different formats and that a worksheet can be altered or updated without fear of loss of an original report.
